午後に四国に渡ると空気があおい。金色の空のカラスはをたまじゃくしのもぎれた尻尾のように黒い。東温To-onのうちでは棕櫚を自分の木にしている。砥部To-beの仕事場から見える山の稜線は360°の図案になる。それぞれの故郷に山の稜線があるなどと考えずにその線だけが普遍だと思ってそこで育った。

If you go over to Sbikoku in the afternoon, the air is so blue. Crows in the golden sky are so black as the chopped-off tails of tadpoles. I grow a hemp palm as my own tree in my house of To-on. The line of mountain ridge I see from my work space of To-be makes it a sketch of 360 degrees. I had no idea that such mountain ridge existed in every homeland, but I grew up there, thinking only such line was universal.

1958年愛媛県生まれ、音楽家、陶芸家。
サイケデリック・バンド マヘル・シャラル・ハシュ・バズを組織、
作品に”faux depart”(2004 YikYak) や ”blues du jour”(2001 Geographic/Domino records) がある。
