A-1はDABMF#GDGA形の中で本歌 TO KNOW YOU IS TO LOVE YOU などと共に景色のいいもので、全体にシャンシャンとしたカッティングにずぶがけのユーフォの化粧がしてある。三谷のベースの作ゆきも尋常に見えてなかなか堂々としている。ギターのギャラントな線刻で始まる曲のひ割れが腰高のま合いに変化を与え、仕上げの高台の素地にかぶさる中崎のユーフォの調子が高くおおらかで、パッヘルベルの約束を見せている。
A-2〜5、いずれも客向きがあるから向付けとして使用されたものであろう。B-2、ざっくりした黒土に中央線の鬼板で化粧をし、雪のようなオルガンの長石釉がたっぷりかかって、うそ寒い景色ではある。B-6、ライブはいわゆる山疵ものが堆積するのは当然の成り行きではあるが、スタジオ物より骨格が立派で、器の素性が明らかな仕事となっていく。岩田侑三は馬の鞭に即座に応対するイ音という簡素で単純な生業に一途に励んでおりことさらにというような意図を抱く何物もなくただ謙虚でなげやりで、いささかも無理をせず何もかもが果たされている。この手に接したことのある人ならおそらくこうした消息を理解されようが、未だに一切の仕事を無造作に平然とやり遂げる作振りで、少しくらいの形の歪みなどはいささかも意に介しない。諦めているのか平気なのかさえ判然としない。A-9、焦げ、ビード口釉など伊賀物の身どころをすべて備えている。A-16、空間恐怖の元青花であり景德鎮からマジョリカに流れたものであろう。
B-7、この手の草文もまた古作を偲ぶが、かつての篠田フルートによる写しが見事に文様をこなしきっており、ザッバ好みの数奇者の手に将来され命名に縁を結ぶ機会もあり銘「サボテンゼリー」ともなった優品ではあったが、これはあとから二度窯したために、絵の消えてしまった無地篠田である。E-7、総じて還元でも酸化でもなく中性焔で焼成されたともいうべき非合理を平然とあえてすることも、この手のリヴァーブの白絵土刷毛目に複雑な味わいをもたらす大きな要因となったとみられる。かくして偶然が必然に近く、必然が偶然に近い性状ともなったのである。こうした仕事について説をなす人は、いたずらに技巧の低下を指摘して云々するが、もとよりこれが理想的な焚き方だという立場や見地からではなく、ただ仕事が仕事を教えたまでのものにすぎない。すべては経験の手馴れから、程々に処理してしまったのである。D-11、イスラエル古陶の美しさは、決して名物手のそれではないが、周辺諸国家のものよりも民情を如実に反映し気格に優れている。器の表面がこのように明るくなり力にみたされているためには、死からの自由がなければならない。地上への復活を信じなければ真の幸福はありえない。諸国民の器は煎じ詰めれば静かに死なせてくれといった大往生の哲学の域を出ず、品、侘、寂、雅、量、力、といった美の王国をさまようだけで、王国が美であることを知らない。F-7、ATG系の「あらかじめ失われた器たち」に柴山自らロビーロバートソン写しの絵付けをしている。E-9、F-1、5、文録慶長の役には諸将こぞって陣中で茶をたてる有り様であったというが、パムニルの乱には御所丸くれずま割高台ちんどんの如き従来と異なる茶ムジクも将来された。そのとき日本に連れ帰った職人のなかに中尾勘二が居り、聖蹟桜ヶ丘で南蛮SP写しを焼かせたのがこれら一連のソプラノものであり、とりまく気温は滲んだ安南蜻蛉絞り手を思わせるが織部好みの歪みがきれい寂の遠州好みに移ってしまっている。E-8、1100度くらいになったところで鉄のはさみで色見穴から引き出すと急冷によってハワイアンも黒物となるが、これははさみの後が残る引手黒となった。C-18、トルコ青のソーダ釉が少年土工を取り巻いておりA-11「はとに知られた私の心」と同じ土である。胴締めの撫で肩に赤土部釉がかかり、丹後流儀の貧がうずくまる。C-11、ミニマルはションズイ文様を繰り返しなおかつ見る人をして煩雑な思いを感じさせない趣向が身上であるが、ここでは多彩釉の九連盤に環７ラーメンの背油がけの要領でてらてらしたラスター顔料の点文をうずめてある。D-3、四枚板からの成形で、鉄釉を施して乾かないうちに素早く人さし指で無造作に掻き落としてフェイドアウトさせた草文様が見所となっている。A-14、B-11、大泉究はここではよく整えられた錫白釉の素地の上に緑黒(オリーブグリーン)のピアノで文様を描き、バッキングの声を透明釉で覆っているため、半ばストーンウエアのような硬度を見せている。ときんの残し方、きちんとした高台の削り出しが女らしい仕事ぶりで、口紅の調子の下がり具合も苦にならない。E4、せっかく覆ったヴォイシングの胎土の12小節を搔き落しと刻線の技法を使って再び露出させるぺルシャのガブリ手の異様さではある。C-4〜7、古上野割山椒向付。B-3、火計り手とはリチャー土・ロイ土、ルーリー土のような原料を国外から舶来しこれを日本で焼成した、つまり火ばかりが日本という酒落であるが、こうしたものも多く焼かれていた。F-2、3、両方とも、あぶらげ手の黄ばんだ朽葉色に抜けタンパンが打たれ、乱暴な絵が描かれてある。エンゴロに同じしるしがあり、作行も似ている。心電図のように上がり下がりする三島手彫刷毛目線文の音符遣いである。A-20、F-1、新羅の硬い感じの印花の暦手も、ユーフォの白絵土の嵌入と施釉によって、その調子は遥かに柔らかく滋潤な味わいを呈するものとなっている。F-10、マイナーの下手物で、ラーメンさえ食らわれへんような山茶碗を、一井戸二萩三マヘルというくらいの情熱で柴山氏自ら海に潜って引き揚げた83点、曜変天目の大名物など出よう筈もなく、ここにいたって断念した。最後に出たのが三筋壷と呼ばれる鋭い口作りのロックの蔵骨器であり、無釉の肌に箆がきによる男声の刻文があり、穴窯時代の終焉を告げる。F-9、火前の色のよいおはぐろ壷で、東玲子の猫掻きによる波状文が茶褐色の肌に二段施され一景色を呈している。鋭い口作りが窯ぐれの過去過去の騒音を呈色する。後半、垂耳旅枕の約束も騒がしく、発注された花入の苦心の跡が垣間見えるドラムである。F-8、この地帯に自生する雑草の一種で、日毎に見るので描いたものであろう。花文の刻線はいよいよ簡略化され幼稚園並みに粗くなっているがやはり葉の部分は遼の特徴である一本線が引かれている。C-2、森下寿一が桶型ギターで酸化しつつも、赤くなるべき肌が還元焼成して暗灰色になったところが火襷ではなくハナハナしたサンギリで、お預け徳利の第一として珍重されているのも肯首出来よう。
D-9、高橋機郎日く楽はノンコウまで、メールはダダカンまで、そしてマヘルは「口ーマ」まで。C-21、豪宕な作行で、総体に火色の発色が見られる赤出来の信楽。E-6、F-4、今井戸のつまらなさは避け難きとかや。後考を待つ。B-8、舟を呼ぶ声は流れて揚雲雀(井月)今井月の窪溜りから(雪夫) 阿阿
